Artvera’s is a Geneva-based art gallery specializing in European masters of modern art. Since opening its doors in 2007, Artvera’s program has been distinguished by its museum-like approach. All exhibitions are accompanied by meticulously researched and thoroughly illustrated catalogues, produced by Artvera’s, in collaboration with leading art scholars and experts.
Due to the gallery’s access to significant art collections, the gallery exhibits exceptional works by celebrated modern artists, including Bonnard, Derain, Goncharova, Jawlensky, Pechstein, Schmidt-Rottluff, Signac, Sisley, and Vlaminck.
To complement the stable of twentieth century Modern masters, Artvera’s also showcases noteworthy nationally and internationally established and emerging contemporary artists. The 5,400 square foot gallery, divided into six exhibition rooms, occupies a lovingly restored medieval building in the heart of the old town.
The gallery is led by director Sofia Komarova. Schooled in St. Petersburg and Geneva, Komarova possesses a vast wealth of knowledge and a wide range of expertise in acquisition and appraisal.
