Since opening its doors in 2007, Artvera’s presents curated, museum-quality exhibitions of works by European masters the modern and post-war eras. Since 2014, Artvera’s showcases noteworthy nationally and internationally established and emerging contemporary artists.


Due to the gallery’s access to significant art collections, the gallery exhibits exceptional works by celebrated modern artists, including Bonnard, Derain, Goncharova, Jawlensky, Pechstein, Schmidt-Rottluff, Signac, Sisley, and Vlaminck.


Exhibitions are accompanied by meticulously researched and thoroughly illustrated catalogues, produced by Artvera’s, in collaboration with leading art scholars and experts.



The 5,400 sq. ft. gallery, occupies a restored medieval building in the heart of Geneva's old town.


The gallery is led by director Sofia Komarova. Schooled in St. Petersburg and Geneva, Komarova possesses a vast wealth of knowledge and a wide range of expertise in acquisition and appraisal.


Artvera’s is internationally recognized for its expertise in attesting the authenticity of masterpieces through meticulous research. It’s discernment also led to the discovery of one of the biggest forgers of the 21st century: Wolfgang Beltracchi.
